Trial period

All paid plans (Growth, Business) offer a 14-day trial with no card. The honest way to try them: if it doesn’t work for you, we don’t charge.

How to start

1. At ministrium.com/signup, pick plan Growth or Business.
2. Create your church with email and password.
3. On email confirmation, you’re in: 14 days to use every feature of the chosen plan.

We don’t ask for a card until day 13.

What the trial includes

• 100% of plan functionality (not a limited sandbox).
• Real data: if you add real members and donations, they stay when you convert to paid.
• Full support: chat, email, onboarding call included.

Stripe during trial

You can connect Stripe and accept real donations. Money goes to your account from day 1; we don’t hold it. If you decide not to continue with Ministrium, your Stripe account stays yours and data is exportable.

Reminders

• Day 7: email “Halfway through — need help?”.
• Day 11: email “3 days until trial ends”.
• Day 13: email “Tomorrow ends, add card to keep access”.
• Day 14: if no card, tenant enters read-only mode for 30 days.

Read-only mode

After 14 days with no card:

• Login works, but you can’t create or edit data.
• Reports and exports still available (you can pull everything).
• Outbound communications paused.
• Donations keep processing (we don’t break member flows), but no new recurrings.

At 30 days in read-only, we delete the tenant after a final notice. Data archived 30 more days before final deletion.

Convert to paid

When ready: Settings → Plan → Activate. Add card or ACH, choose monthly or annual, done.

• Convert before day 14 and we don’t charge until trial ends.
• Convert after day 14 (during read-only) and we reactivate the tenant immediately with prorated charge.

Extend the trial

Need more time? Settings → Plan → Request extension. We auto-approve +14 days if:

• It’s not the second extension (each account has max 2).
• No anti-fraud flags.

For special cases (complex migration, large upcoming event), success@ministrium.com can grant 30-60 days with justification.

Starter as alternative

If the trial tells you you don’t need Growth yet, you can downgrade to Starter (free, with limits). Your data stays. Upgrade to Growth when ready.

Enterprise

Enterprise trials are different: they include a custom POC (Proof of Concept) of 30-90 days with a dedicated Customer Success Manager. Contact sales@ministrium.com.
