Make a gift

On the web or in the installed app (PWA)

The Give screen is at /app/donations. The Give button in the bottom bar appears only if your church has online donations available.

1. Select Give in the bottom bar.
2. Under Designation, choose the fund. To split the amount across funds, use Add another fund.
3. Under Select an amount, choose a suggested amount or type one in Or enter custom amount.
4. Keep Cover the fees on if you want the church to receive 100% of your gift. The summary shows Donation, Fee, and Total.
5. Select Donate $X (the button shows the total) and complete card payment on Stripe’s secure page. Only one-time gifts are supported.
6. When you finish you will see Thank You!.

If your church does not have online donations available yet, the screen shows Online donations unavailable.

On iPhone (native app)

1. Tap Give in the app’s bottom bar. Safari opens your church’s giving page (/give).
2. The first time in that browser you will see Give to your church. Enter the email you use for Ministrium in Email and tap Send code.
3. Check your email, enter the 6-digit code, and tap Continue. If the code expired, use Resend code. If you prefer your password, use Sign in with my password instead.
4. Your church’s giving form opens with the greeting Hi, {firstName}. Choose the fund and amount and complete payment on Stripe’s secure page.
5. When you finish you will see Thank you, {firstName}!. Then return to the Ministrium app.

Next time, Give takes you straight to the form without a code. If you sign out of the app, you will be asked for a new code next time.

If your account is not linked to a church member yet, you will see “Your account isn’t linked to a member of this church yet.” and the Give as a guest option.

Inside the iPhone app, the Give tab of /app/donations shows the card To give, use the Give tab below.

Guest gifts on the web

A guest can give from the church’s public page (/give/<slug>) in any browser. When the payment completes they see Thank You for Your Generosity!.

My giving history

In Give (/app/donations), tap the My giving history tab to see your recorded gifts and My Donation Certificates by year. If you have no gifts yet, you will see “You don’t have any gifts recorded yet”.

Events and RSVP

Events opens the Calendar, in List or Month view, with Upcoming and Past events.

1. Tap the event.
2. If the event accepts registration, tap I’ll Attend. The button changes to Registered.
3. To save it to your calendar, tap Add to Calendar and choose Google Calendar or Download .ics (Apple/Outlook).

I’ll Attend only appears if the event accepts registration and your user is linked to a member record.
