Capture sources

Every prospect in your CRM came in somewhere. Tagging the source correctly is the difference between knowing what strategy works and guesswork.

Native sources

These tags are applied automatically and aren’t editable by hand.

Connect Card

The most common entry. Two modes:

Digital Connect Card

Public URL: https://<your-tenant>.ministrium.com/connect. Configurable from Settings → Connect Card:

  • Logo and campus branding
  • Visible fields (name, email, phone, “first visit”, “interested in…”)
  • Post-submit message and redirect

Each response creates a prospect and triggers a welcome workflow (if configured).

Printed Connect Card

Generate a QR from Connect Card → QR for print. Print it on a paper card. When a visitor hands it in, your volunteer registers it at the kiosk or a staff member types it into the CRM.

Capture from events

When someone registers for a public event, they’re automatically created as a prospect if they didn’t exist. The source: event:<id> tag allows reporting like:

“Of the 80 guests at the March youth conference, 12 are now members and 22 are still active prospects.”

Guest fills Connect Card on Sunday Prospect created with source: connect_card Automatic "Thanks for visiting" email (24h) Assigned to a welcome leader Welcome call / WhatsApp (3-5 days) Invitation to a cell group If they return → conversion to member
UTM on the web

The web form accepts UTM parameters. If you launch a social campaign with ?utm_campaign=march-conf, the prospects are tagged and you can report on the full funnel.
