Capture COPPA consent from the guardian

For: Org adminStaff
Last reviewed:

COPPA applies to under-13s residing in the US. The church must keep evidence of guardian consent.

TL;DR

On the child’s first check-in the kiosk asks for consent. The guardian signs on screen.

Steps

    1. On first check-in the COPPA notice appears. 2. The guardian reads the summary and the data being processed. 3. Signs with finger in the indicated area. 4. Captures guardian email (a copy of the consent is sent there). 5. Confirms. The consent is stored with timestamp and signature in the child’s record.
