Connect Stripe in 5 minutes

Ministrium uses Stripe Connect to process digital gifts. Your church keeps its own Stripe account; every digital gift goes to that account.

TL;DR

Open Settings → Integrations, choose Connect with Stripe, and complete Stripe’s flow.

Before you start

• The Stripe account must be in the name of your church’s legal entity, not a volunteer.
• Have ready: tax ID, legal name, registered address, and bank account.
• You need a role with permission to manage integrations or finance.

Steps

1. Open Settings.
2. Go to the Integrations tab.
3. Choose Connect with Stripe. The official Stripe flow opens.
4. If you already have a Stripe account, sign in. If not, create one via the form.
5. Complete authorization and return to Ministrium.
6. Configure at least one fund in Finance before sharing the giving link.

Connection states

The integration may show as:

• Connected — ready to receive digital gifts.
• Pending verification — Stripe is still reviewing your church’s information.
• Not connected — no account is linked yet.

If Stripe is not connected, the public page shows Online donations unavailable.

Verification

Before announcing to the congregation, make a small test gift from the public link (/give/<slug>) and confirm it appears in Finance.
